New Delhi: Jadeja’s fifer halted Australia’s progress as India bowled them out for 451 at Day 2 of the third India-Australia Test at Ranchi.
Jadeja continued his great performance in the home season with his 8th five-wicket haul of the season.
Steve Smith however, made sure Australia reached a formidable total. Smith was unbeaten on 178 – the highest score by any Australian captain in India.
Apart from Jadeja, Umesh Yadav picked up three wickets for India.
India have a tough task on their hands, particularly when it is still uncertain whether captain Virat Kohli will come in to bat or not.
