Powered by Upul Tharanga’s blistering 51-ball century and a fiery half-century from Lahiru Thirimanne, Sri Lanka Masters secured their second win of the tournament.
Sri Lanka Masters chased down 218 thanks to Upul Tharanga’s 102 off 54 balls and Lahiru Thirimanne’s 53 off 34. The duo stitched a 153-run second-wicket stand before Ben Laughlin’s late strikes created some tension. However, cameos from Isuru Udana (15 off 6) and Chaturanga de Silva sealed the win.
Earlier, Australia Masters posted 217/4, with Shaun Marsh (77 off 49) and Ben Dunk (56 off 29) leading the charge. Daniel Christian and Ben Cutting provided finishing touches, but Sri Lanka’s chase proved too strong in the end.
