England playing 11 for IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Ben Stokes-led England cricket team has confirmed its playing 11 for the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Vizag. The team, currently leading 1-0 in the five-match IND vs ENG Test Series, has made two changes to their Playing 11 from the previous game. Veteran James Anderson comes in for Mark Wood, while Pakistan-origin spinner Shoaib Bashir is set for his international Test debut in Vizag. Spinner Jack Leach, who is still recovering from a knee injury, has been omitted from England's Playing 11 for the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.

If all-rounder Ben Stokes returns to bowling duties, England will have five bowlers at their disposal. 41-year-old James Anderson is all set to feature in his 14th Test match in India. His inaugural Test here dates back to 2006. The last time he featured for England was at The Oval in July 2023 in a match against Australia.

IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Vizag will mark Anderson’s 2nd Test appearance at the venue. In his previous Test at the venue back in 2016, the star seamer claimed four wickets across the match.
