Veteran English speedster James Anderson added another feather to his cap during the fourth day of the Lord’s test against the Indian cricket team. He became the first fast bowler to clinch 100 Test wickets at the home of cricket, Lord’s.

At the same time, he also equalled Muttiah Muralitharan's record of picking 100 scalps in whites at a single venue.

On Sunday, England declared the innings after taking a lead of 289 runs. In return, Murali Vijay and KL Rahul opened the Indian batting while their discomfort against the English seam was clearly visible.

In the third over, Vijay knicked a quick delivery off Anderson and wicket-keeper Johnny Barstow made no mistake behind the stumps. The bowler celebrated his 100th wicket in a thrilling fashion along with his fellow teammates, who applauded the bowler for the achievement.

Anderson is in a raging form in the ongoing Test against India and has already taken seven Indian wickets in the match so far, including a five-wicket haul in the first innings.

Meanwhile, rain has disrupted the fourth day's play at Lord's, where India are trailing the second innings by 272 runs with 8 wickets remaining.
