The toss between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka has been delayed due to rain. With the rain getting eased off, the covers are being peeled off for the inspection where the umpires will look out for the patches under the sheets.

It will be a major upset for the Bangladesh team if the entire match gets washed out due the ongoing weather conditions as they were eager to get their World Cup campaign back on track after facing two consecutive defeats from their previous encounters.

For those who don't know, Sri Lanka Cricket Board, today, took to Twitter to confirm that Sri Lanka star speedster Lasith Malinga will leave the team following Sri Lanka’s World Cup Game against Bangladesh, which will be played today, as his Mother-In-Law has passed away.

Malinga is expected to join the team, before the team’s next World Cup game, which will be played against Australia on 15th.
