PAK vs AUS Playing 11 for 3rd Test: Australia and Pakistan have announced playing 11s for the third and final PAK vs AUS Test, set to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), starting from Wednesday (January 3) onwards. Pat Cummins-led Australia has declared an unaltered playing XI, while Pakistan has opted for two changes in their lineup.


For AUS vs PAK Sydney Test, Australia had initially chosen an unaltered 13-member squad, creating anticipation that all-rounder Cameron Green would be part of the playing 11. However, the team ultimately opted to maintain the same playing 11.


The focus will be around senior opener David Warner, who will play the last international Test match of his inspiring career in front of his home crowd at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has implemented two changes to their playing 11 from PAK vs AUS Boxing Day Test. Premier pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and ut-of-form opener Imam-Ul-Haq have been rested.


Saim Ayub is poised to make his Test debut as a replacement for Imam-Ul-Haq, while spin bowling all-rounder Sajid Khan, who last participated in a Test in March 2022 against Australia in home conditions, takes the spot vacated by Shaheen Shah Afridi.


Australia have already won the three-match AUS vs PAK Test series 2-0 and will be eyeing to attain a white-wash against Pakistan by winning the third and final Test at Sydney.
