Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza's men will be brimming with confidence when they face a stiff test against Australia in their crucial World Cup fixture at Trent Bridge, on Thursday.
After losing against India, Australia have not been a dominating side but have continued their winning momentum as they always come up with ways to thrash their opponents.
For Bangladesh, ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has scored two fifties and two centuries so far, would aim to continue his brilliant form to ensure a semifinal spot for his national team.
It would require a below par performance from the defending champions to lose against Bangladesh, a team against which they have tasted defeat only once in the 22 ODIs they have played against each other.
TOSS UPDATE: Australia won the toss and opted to bat first against Bangladesh at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Fit-again Stoinis makes his way back into the Playing XI. Adam Zampa, and Nathan Coulter-Nile too come back for Australia.
Aaron Finch: We are gonna bat first, looks a really good surface. I think we have played well in patches. There have been times we haven't got it right. Still excited to be in this position.
Skipper Mortaza said his team his confident after winning the previous game and they will try to restrict Australia to a low total. For Bangladesh, Rubel comes in for Saifuddin and Sabbir comes in for Mosaddek.
Mashrafe Mortaza: It's a good wicket, you never know. We are chasing very well in the last few matches. My knees are alright, trying hard, let's see. The boys are confident after that last match.
