Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has been named as in Mumbai’s Under-19 squad for the forthcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The team will begin their campaign from October 6 against Gujarat, under the leadership of Vedant Murkar.

Arjun made his way in the Indian U-19 squad for the Test tour to Sri Lanka. However, he failed to impress with his performance as he could only pick three wickets in four innings. Later, he wasn’t named in the one-day series as he will be ineligible to play the U19 World Cup in 2020.

Now since he had been named in the Mumbai squad, the upcoming tournament is going to be a huge opportunity for Junior Tendulkar. He has already missed the spot in Mumbai’s senior squad for the off-season camp earlier and now he would surely look forward to creating an impact.
