New Delhi: The second day of the Ind vs SA Centurion Test match had to be called off due to rain. Not a single ball could be bowled and the fans missed out on witnessing any live cricketing action due to persistent showers.

Meanwhile, a picture of Indian players' lunch menu from Day 2 has gone viral on social media.

The pic of mouth-watering lunch menu includes Broccoli Soup, Chicken Chettinad, Lentils, Lamb Chops, Pepper Sauce, Vegetable Kadai and Paneer Tikka for the Indian players.

On day 1 of the 1st Test, India had scored 272 runs for loss of 3 wickets. KL Rahul (122*) and Ajinkya Rahane (40*) remain unbeaten and will continue to bat for India on Day 3. Mayank Agarwal (60), Virat Kohli (35) and Pujara (0) were among the players to be dismissed.

Once again, captain Virat Kohli failed to capitalize on the start he got and was dismissed for a paltry 35. Virat has not been able to score a ton in international cricket for the last two years.

Kohli's last Test century came in the year 2019 during the Kolkata Test against Bangladesh. Apart from Kohli's average outing, Pujara getting out on zero  was also highly disappointing for the fans.

The weather is expected to remain clear on day 3 of Ind vs SA Boxing Day Test.  According to AccuWeather.com, it won't rain in Centurion on Tuesday.

Tomorrow i.e. Tuesday, Day 3's play will start at its scheduled time and there will be an additional half hour of play in the third session.
