New Delhi: Its been more than 10 days since India lifted the Thomas Cup in a historic win, but the accolades and awards haven't yet stopped coming for the Indian men's badminton team. From Lakshya Sen's turnaround in the opening game to Kidambi Srikanth snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, the win has given several notable memories for fans. While there have been reports of the players going to bed with medals around their necks, fans have been wanting to know how the players celebrated the victory.
On Thursday, HS Prannoy, one of the architects of India's triumph in the Thomas Cup, tweeted a video of the celebrations that followed folowing the win in Bangkok. "On Public Demand!! Behind the scenessss," Prannoy captioned the video.
The video shows Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty and Satwik SaiRaj Rankireddy dancing their hearts out to dhol beats. The video already had more than 650 likes at the time of writing this article.

On May 15, the Indian badminton team stunned 14-time champions Indonesia 3-0 at the men's finals for a historic win at the Thomas Cup. India had previously reached the semifinals in 1952, 1955, and 1979.
In an interaction with journalists, HS Prannoy had earlier said players went to bed after the win with medals still around their necks.
"We never thought we will win the Thomas Cup; we were thinking that we had a good chance of winning a medal but this is beyond our dreams," IANS had quoted HS Prannoy as saying.
"All the players have gone crazy since the win against Indonesia in the final. We had a huge celebratory dinner, spoke to friends and family and just enjoyed ourselves. Most of us slept Sunday night with medals around our necks, It's such a beautiful medal," he had said.
The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has rewarded the Indian men's team with a cash prize of Rs one crore.
