World Heart Day: Stroke and coronary artery disease are likely to be the major cardiovascular diseases in India by 2030. The projected prevalence of cardiovascular disease in 2030 is 5.26 per cent.

World Heart Day: The age group 25-35 saw the highest number of heart consultations in 2022. Of all the heart consultations done in 2022, 78 per cent consultations were done by men, and 22 per cent by women.
