Scientists have found microplastics in human and canine testes. These are resulting in sperm count and quality decline, according to a new study published in the journal Toxicological Sciences.

The average concentration of microplastics in testicular tissues of dogs was 122.63 micrograms per gram of tissue, and that in human tissues was 329.44 micrograms per gram of tissue. Polyethylene was the most prevalent polymer found in both human and canine tissue. ( Image Source :Getty )
