Menu Calorie Labels In Food Businesses May Prevent Over 9,000 Heart Disease Deaths In England, Study In Lancet Suggests
The new study is unique because it is the first to model how menu calorie labelling impacts obesity, and what its link with cardiovascular disease mortality in England is.

If menu calorie labelling is made mandatory for all English food businesses, about 9,200 CVD deaths could be prevented from 2022 to 2041, according to a modelling study published in The Lancet Public Health.
