Moon Sniper Mission: Japan's Smart Lander for Investigating Moon (SLIM) has successfully soft-landed on the Moon, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has confirmed. SLIM landed on the Moon on January 20, 2024, at  0:20 am JST (January 19, 2024, at 8:50 pm IST).
