Indian Ocean And Bay Of Bengal Can Be Used As Storage Sinks For Carbon Dioxide, IIT Madras-Led Research Finds

The ocean can serve as an effective storage reservoir for greenhouse gases released as part of industrial activities, the study, led by IIT Madras researchers, said.

The Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal can be used as carbon dioxide sinks, which means that large amounts of carbon dioxide can be stored there, according to a new study.
