China’s Chang’e-6 Probe Lifts Off From Moon’s Far Side Carrying Lunar Samples. All About The First-Of-Its-Kind Feat

China's Chang'e-6 probe lifted off from the Moon's surface at 23:38 GMT on June 3 (5:08 am IST on June 4). On June 2 and 3, the probe collected samples.

China's Chang'e 6 probe, which landed on the lunar surface on June 2, 2024, at 3:53 am IST, took off from the far side of the Moon on June 4, carrying lunar rocks. The probe, which comprises an orbiter, a lander, an ascender, and a returner, has begun its journey back to Earth.
