Breast cancer is a disease in which there is an uncontrolled growth of breast cells, and mostly occurs in ducts or lobules. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in India. Between 1965 and 1985, the incidence (occurrence of new cases) of breast cancer increased by 50 per cent, according to a March 2022 study published in the World Journal of Clinical Oncology.
