Vat Savitri 2025 Date And Puja Muhurat

According to the Panchang, Jyeshtha Amavasya will begin on 26th May at 12:11 PM and will end on 27th May at 8:31 AM. This year, the Vat Savitri fast will be observed on 26th May. The puja muhurat is from 8:52 AM to 10:25 AM. Additionally, Abhijit Muhurat is from 11:11 AM to 12:46 PM. There is also another auspicious period for puja from 3:45 PM to 5:28 PM.

On Vat Savitri, women sit under the Vat Vriksha to perform worship, listen to and narrate the Savitri-Satyavan story, and circumambulate the tree while tying a raw cotton thread around it.
