Year Ender 2017: 5 Bollywood movies that disappointed us big time!
Here is a list of movies that nose-dived, against high expectations. Rangoon: This love triangle set against the backdrop of World War 2, had given the audience a lot of hopes, only to disappoint them later. The acting of Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut however, was the only thing that could manage to hold the audience. The story failed to woo the audience like other Vishal Bhardwaj films./ Image: Instagram

View In AppRaabta: All the excitement of seeing the rumoured couple Kirti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput fizzled out after entering the theater, just like the movie fizzled out of the box-office. A loose story and a drab plot and puerile acting caused the movie to bite the dust. ./ Image: Instagram
Jagga Jasoos: Bigwigs like Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif looking cute as ever could not stop the movie from falling headlong. Ranbir and Katrina’s chemistry that has previously worked wonders in Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani and Raajneeti seems to have languished post their break-up. Fell flat against all the expectations. ./ Image: Instagram
Haseena Parkar: Another film made on Dawood Ibrahim’s family. The Humma girl Shraddha Kapoor donned a completely new getup for portraying the Don’s sister and did look promising in the trailers. Although Shraddha’s efforts of getting in the shoes of the menacing lady are clearly visible, she couldn’t really do justice to the character. But more than her, it was the storyline that was dud. ./ Image: Instagram
Half Girlfriend: Another adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel with Arjun Kapoor in the lead after 2 States. While Arjun looked convincing as an urban IIM student, he could not really convince us as the hindi medium student of DU even though his efforts could be seen. Shraddha Kapoor on the other hand faced criticism for her overacting. The film all in all fails to hold attention./ Image: Instagram
