'Will close during Navratri only if district administration orders', Muslim meat shop owners to Hindu groups
Muslim meat shop owners are defying the forceful closure of their shops by Hindu groups in neighbouring Gurugram during the festival of Navratri (October 10-18).

The meat sellers ABP News spoke to said they have requested for a meeting with the district administration on Wednesday following which a decision will be made. Hindu groups on the other hand have also written to the administration accusing the meat sellers of operating without requisite licences.
Some Hindu groups were seen this morning trying to shut down meat shops in the city.
Several shop owners have united and are putting up a brave face against fringe outfits to ensure their sales do not get a hit this time around.
Most of them are, however, willing to pull down their shutters if they are asked to by the district administration.
Police have stepped up security and are keeping a vigil to ensure a possible faceoff between Hindus and Muslims do not take place during the festival period. Incidents like these have been reported from Noida and other neighbouring regions in the previous occasions.
