PICTURES: Dressed in Saffron Robe, PM Modi Meditates At Holy Cave In Kedarnath

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen meditating at a holy cave near Kedarnath Shrine in Uttarakhand.

No media or personnel will be allowed in the vicinity of the cave.

The portals of both the shrines were reopened for devotees after winter break early this month.

He reached Jolly Grant airport this morning. This is Modi's fourth visit to the temple in the last two years. He will offer prayers at Badrinath on Sunday.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday offered prayers at the Himalayan shrine of Kedarnath, a day after campaigning for the general election came to a close.

PM began his meditation which will last till tomorrow morning.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had trekked 2 kms to the cave and on request of media allowed cameras to make initial visuals.
