Nehru Bal Sangh celebrates the 5th edition of Jashn-E-Azadi

Sharing the event concept Ashok Sahota, President, Nehru Bal Sangh said, It is much more than just a day off and this is also a reminder with a message to the generation of today which is forgetting the core of freedom.

Eminent personalities from different spheres like Ms. Shiela Dixit, Vinay Pathak, Korean Ambassador Mr. Lee Hac Kwang marked their presence at the event.

The aim of Jashn-E-Azadi was to invoke and instill a sense of pride and make the youth understand the factual meaning of independence.

Jashn-e Azadi is a tribute to the countless sacrifice made by our countrymen for Independence.

Mr. Lee Hye Kwang, Charge d’ affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Through this kind of cooperative celebration we are looking to strengthen the relationship between India and Korea and pave the way for an everlasting friendship for the coming generation.

The 2 week independence festival concluded with a Bike Rally on August 15 where approximately 100 Harley Davidson bikes covered the length and breadth of the national capital on a pre designated route.
