Star India All-Rounder Nominated For ICC Men's Player Of Month For February
India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who played a key role for India in Tests vs Australia, has been nominated for the award for the first time.
Jadeja shone both with bat and bowl against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar series, helping the hosts get a dominant start to the series in their World Test Championship battle.
If Jadeja wins Player of the Month award, it will be a special win for him as the Border-Gavaskar Trophy marked his return to international cricket after months long injury lay-off.
The 34-year-old bagged 5/47 in 1st innings of 1st Test and later scored crucial 70 runs to ensure a substantial lead for his team.
In Ind vs Aus 2nd Test, Jadeja took 3/68 in first innings and turned the game on its head by taking 7/42, ensuring India's six-wicket win in Delhi.
Jadeja's performances saw him win the Player of the Match award in both games.
