Alastair Cook Breaks Sachin Tendulkar's 11-Year-Old Record

Cook also became the first English cricketer ever to reach the milestone and 12th overall in the history of Test cricket.
Cook took 229 innings of 128 Test matches to reach the milestone.
Before Monday, the record was held by Sachin Tendulkar, who was 31 years, 326 days old when he reached the 10,000-run mark in Test cricket.
Cook went past the record at 31 years and 157 days.
Cook became the youngest cricketer to complete 10,000 runs in Test cricket.
