Mannara Chopra Carries Father’s Bier At Funeral, Leaves Everyone Teary-Eyed

Mannara and her sister Mitali Handa were seen breaking down in tears as they carried their father's mortal remains.

Mannara insisted on helping carry the bier, walking alongside the male family members to the cremation ground.

Both sisters were dressed in traditional white mourning attire, visibly emotional during the last rites.

Mannara earlier posted a family statement, calling her father “the pillar of strength” for the family.

Raman Rai Handa was a Delhi High Court lawyer and was married to Kamini Chopra Handa, Priyanka Chopra’s paternal aunt.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mannara and Mitali.

Priyanka Chopra mourned her uncle's death on Instagram Stories, writing, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle. Om Shanti.”

Priyanka’s brother Siddharth Chopra also paid tribute, sharing Mannara’s official statement and adding, “Will miss you Raman uncle.”
