Vineet Kumar Singh has a MD degree in Ayurveda and was a topper in his medical college. The versatile actor has aced his academics along with his acting career and has sound knowledge in ayurvedic medicines and treatments. He is constantly updated on the recent developments in the Ayurveda field.

He is a national level Basketball player and has played six national level tournaments. Vineet Kumar Singh is an ace sportsman and has always taken keen interest in basketball and in his leisure time, he loves playing the sport.

Vineet Kumar Singh had lost 17kgs for his role in 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. He played the role Danish Khan and till date the character is considered to be one of his best.
