The rear styling also gets a similar look to the new Seltos with a full connected LED lighting bar and vertical tail-lamps. Kia has also introduced a new colour similar to the Seltos which is Pewter Olive. (Source: Somnath Chatterjee)
Inside, the button clutter on the centre console has been changed with a new layout while the 10.25-inch screen size remains the same.There are some big new feature additions like a powered drivers seat (4 way adjust), Level 1 ADAS features plus the Sonet also gets ventilated seats, front parking sensors, air purifier, sunroof, connected car tech and more. A big change is the new digital instrument cluster which is better looking than the old one while the configurable layout also is similar to the new Seltos. The Level 1 ADAS features include lane keep assist, forward collision warning and avoidance assist and more. Along with the Venue, the Sonet is the only to have ADAS features. Mechanically the Sonet continues with a 1.2-litre petrol pot with a 5-speed manual while there is a 1.0-litre urbo petrol with either iMT and DCT automatic. There is also a diesel 1.5l with a 6-speed iMT, MT and a torque converter automatic while the Sonet diesel is the only one to have an automatic. The Sonet facelift will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza. (Source: Somnath Chatterjee)
