IN PICS | New Mahindra Scorpio N launched At Rs 11.99 Lakh
Mahindra has finally launched the Scorpio N in India at an aggressive starting price of Rs lakh and even the top-end is well priced at Rs 19.49 lakh. Deliveries starting from festive season and bookings starting from 30 July and these prices are for the top 25,000 bookings. The Scorpio N would be sold above the current Scorpio Classic but below the XUV700 while this is the next step in the evolution of the Scorpio brand.(Source: ABP)

View In AppThere are big 17/18 inch alloy wheels and massive wheel-arches which are similar to the current Scorpio while the boxy SUV look has been maintained with the roofline. The rear gets a set of new tail-lamps which are certainly more attractive than the current one. 7 body colour options: Deep Forest, Napoli Black, Everest White, Red Rage, Dazzling Silver, Royal Gold, and Grand Canyon.(Source: ABP)
Having the codename Z101, as said earlier, it is built on a new body-on-frame platform which brings about a longer wheelbase at 2,750mm. This means there is more room now plus the new Scorpio N will come in 6/7seater layout with captain seats too for the 6-seater version.(Source: ABP)
There are silver accents used on the dashboard while the touchscreen is 8-inch with the latest AdrenoX infotainment system. Some of the big feature highlights is front/rear dual cameras, dual zone climate control, wireless charging electric sunroof, full LED lights, connected car tech and a 12 speaker Sony 3D Audio system. In terms of engine options, the Scorpio N gets a 2.0 litre turbo petrol with 200ps and 380Nm of torque being more powerful than rivals while the gearbox options with this engine includes either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.(Source: ABP)
The dashboard lay-out is a huge change from the current model and the Scorpio N has a black/beige with tan inserts. The instrument cluster is part digital with a big screen in the middle.(Source: ABP)
There is a diesel too of course being a 2.2l unit as seen on the XUV700 with a power output of 175PS. The new 4 XPLOR 4WD system of Mahindra with terrain modes and a low-range mode is there plus drive modes too are there being called Zip, Zap and Zoom.(Source: ABP)

Compared to the current Scorpio N, the new one is bigger and looks more premium with more sculpted body panels along with a bigger grille up-front. There is also the new Mahindra SUV logo as well which we have also seen with the XUV700.(Source: ABP)
