Honda Transalp 750 Launched In India At Rs 11 Lakh - In Pics
Big bikes have found a market in India and Honda has just launched its XL750 Transalp in India with a price-tag of Rs 11 lakh.

View In AppThe design of the Honda XL750 Transalp is similar to the Africa Twin, although being more of a mid capacity motorcycle in the adventure segment. The styling of the Honda XL750 Transalp is minimalist, but is built around the traditional design details of big ADVs.
The original Transalp came in 1986 with a 583cc V-Twin engine while this new generation which has made its India debut comes with an all new 755cc, parallel twin-cylinder unit which is also shared with the new CB750 Hornet. It produces 92 bhp of power and has 75Nm of torque. It is also a light motorcycle which further adds to its performance and it is amongst the lightest in its class.
This bike has a 18.3 kg steel diamond frame plus off-road spec suspension including Showa 43mm SFF-CA USD forks and rear shock through Pro-Link.
The offroad friendly suspension and frame allow for a 200 mm travel with spring preload adjustment, as well as a generous ground clearance of 210 mm.
The Honda XL 750 Transalp gets a Throttle By Wire system which includes 5 riding modes, 4 of which include combinations of Engine Power, Engine Braking, ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with integrated Wheelie Control.
The Honda Transalp 750 also has a 5th ‘User’ mode which enables the rider to select a customised setting.
The feature list included LED lighting, 5-inch TFT colour display, Honda Smartphone Voice Control, quickshifter etc.
