In a bone-chilling video, a 15-foot-long King Cobra snake under a car was caught by a snake catcher. The footage of the incident was shared online by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda. He said that the King Cobra was caught and later released in a forested area. He further warned that people should not attempt to catch snakes on their own, instead, they should wait for professionals. Nanda is known for posting interesting wildlife content on his social media.
''King Cobra are vital in the food chain for maintaining balance in nature. Here is one nearly 15 feet long rescued & released in the wild. The entire operation is done by trained snake catchers. Please don't try on your own. With the onset of rains, they can be found in all odd places,'' Nanda wrote in the video.
In the video, a trained snake catcher used a pointed pole to catch the 15-foot-long reptile. He then carefully holds the snake while he directs it toward a long bag.
The video has garnered over 18,000 views and Twitter users lauded the rescue operation.

Another account wrote that they would not want to face such a snake in real-life even though the reptile looks majestic.

According to National Geographic, King Cobra’s venom is highly toxic, the amount of neurotoxin they can deliver in a single bite is enough to kill 20 people.
