US Man From Maryland Wins Lottery Three Times With The Same Numbers In A Year

When asked what will he do with the prize money, the man said he would like to go on a vacation with his wife.

A truck driver from Maryland in the United States won a lottery - not once, not twice... but three times. The 52-year-old resident of Charles County won his third $50,000 lottery prize in just 11 months on April 13 using the same set of lucky numbers, according to a  release from the Maryland lottery. His achievement has created headlines across the country.

 Using number 48548 the man won two separate $50,000 prizes in May 2022, making a total of $100,000. This time too he used the same number to win Maryland Lottery's "Pick 5" game. When asked about his secret to winning, the man said he and his wife had simply picked a set of numbers that was of importance to them.

"It hit last year and it hit again. My wife said, let's play this number' and we keep winning with it," the man said according to the release.

"I play the Lottery all the time, you never know. You can't win if you are not in it," he said further.

When asked what will he do with the prize money, the man said he would like to go on a vacation with his wife.

The man hobbies include going to racetracks and playing the Lottery's Racetrax game. Big Mouth Beer, Wine, and Liquor in Waldorf, where he purchased his most recent Pick 5 ticket, will receive a $500 bonus, according to the release.
