When we hear of twins, the one thing that comes to our mind is that they would share the same birthday. But for the twin sisters born to mama Kali Jo Scott in Texas the situation is a little different. The newborns don’t share the same birth date and have different birth years.

Scott gave birth to twin babies around midnight on New Year's Eve, but they ended up being born in separate years.

According to The New York Post, Scott gave birth to her first twin baby girl, Annie Jo, at 11:55 p.m. on December 31 and then delivered her second daughter, Effie Rose, at 12:01 a.m. on January 1.

Kali Jo Scott and father Cliff Scott had expected the birth to happen around midnight.

The excited Mother shared the news about how one of them was born in December 2022 and the other in January 2023 on the social networking site Facebook.

“Cliff and I are so proud to introduce Annie Jo and Effie Rose Scott! Annie was the last baby born in 2022 at 11:55 p.m. Then, Effie was the very first born in 2023 at 12:01! They both came out healthy and happy and weighing 5.5 pounds. Cliff and I are just so excited for this adventure!” she wrote along with sharing a picture of the twins.

Since being shared, the post has received close to 500 likes and several comments.
