Anand Mahindra, an industrialist, is known for posting successful and inspiring tales on his social media profile. Mahindra posted a video of the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway on Monday. The highway is scheduled to be finished in March of next year.

Mahindra's video shows a drone perspective of the expressway with the Vande Bharat train moving beneath. "Drone view of the new Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway with the Vande Bharat train passing underneath. A powerful visual symbol of how global-standard infrastructure is transforming India," reads the caption of the video.

The video was shared an hour ago and has received over 25,000 views on Twitter as well as various comments.

Recently, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari stated that the Bengaluru-Mysuru motorway will be completed by February and suggested that it would not be free of charge.

The highway will relieve congestion in Bengaluru and make Mysuru a viable option for business and other economic activity.

Karnataka's health minister, K Sudhakar, also uploaded the highway footage on social media on Friday, calling it "unprecedented speed" in the state.

“10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway and Vande Bharat Express in one frame! Double Engine BJP Govts at the Centre and in Karnataka have delivered next-generation infrastructure at a scale & speed that is unprecedented," Sudhakar tweeted.

The highway from Kengeri to Mysuru is intended to cut the current 3.5-hour trip time in half. The project, worth Rs. 8,453 crore, is set to be launched in March. However, the NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) has authorised vehicles to travel from Bengaluru to Mandya because the remaining stretch is still under construction. The 118-kilometer-long route is already seeing significant traffic even before its official opening.
