US Plane Crash: The plane crash that occurred over the Potomac River in Washington DC is learnt to have claimed several lives. There were 60 passengers and four crew members on the passenger jet that crashed, as per CBS. However, there is no confirmation of the casualty figure so far. Now, a Flightradar24 tracker animation has come to the fore, which suggests that the plane collided with the chopper just before landing on the runway. The video then shows helicopters flying over the scene at the end.

US Vice-President JD Vance said that the Pentagon is monitoring the situation and is "hoping for the best". The plane was on its way from Wichita, Kansas, to Reagan National Airport in Washington DC.
New Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy says he is at the Federal Aviation Administration headquarters in Washington, DC, and "closely monitoring the situation".
Plane Crash Caught On Video
It is unclear how the plane crash occurred. However, the plane's collision with the Black Hawk chopper was caught on video by a CCTV camera at the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that a CRJ700 regional jet collided in mid-air with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter.
Multiple agencies are involved in the search and rescue operations in and around the Potomac River.
