The identities of two Indian citizens who passed away in Abu Dhabi on Monday, due to a fire that was caught after a suspected drone attack, have been confirmed.
The Indian Embassy officials are in touch with the family members of the deceased persons. "The Mission is working closely with UAE authorities, including ADNOC, for early repatriation of mortal remains," said the Indian Embassy in UAE.
Two other Indian nationals who were injured in the attack were discharged after giving medical treatment.
“Initial investigations found parts of a small plane that could possibly be a drone at both sites that could have caused the explosion and the fire,” the police had said in a statement on state news agency WAM.

According to agency reports, Abu Dhabi police informed that three fuel tanker trucks exploded in the industrial area of Musaffah near storage facilities of oil firm ADNOC, another fire broke out at a construction site at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
"UAE authorities have informed that the explosion at Mussafah, near ADNOC’s storage tanks, has led to 3 casualties, which includes 2 Indian nationals," the Indian embassy in UAE had tweeted earlier.
