Lucknow: Witnessing slight improvement in the Coronavirus situation in the state, Uttar Pradesh government has decided to relax some of the Covid-induced curfew restrictions. Yogi Adityanath led government has announced fresh set of measures and guidelines which will come into effect from June 1.
CM Yogi Adityanath in a statememt on Sunday said, "Curfew will continue in districts which have more than 600 active COVID cases for one more week. When active cases will come under 600 the curfew will end automatically. We've eased restrictions in 55 districts from 7 am to 7 pm."

As per the announcement for the process of "unlocking" in Uttar Pradesh, shops outside containment zones have been permitted to operate from 7 am till 7 pm. The state authorities have said that the markets will be allowed to open in areas where the count of cases is below 600.
According to an official order, the night curfew will remain in place from 7 pm to 7 am. The weekend restrictions or “corona curfew” will remain in place on Saturday and Sunday.
The districts having more than 600 Covid cases - which include Meerut, Lucknow, Ghaziabad Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Gautam Buddh Nagar and 20 others, will continue to witness curfew.
Besides markets, school, colleges and educational institutions will continue to remain shut. Public places such as restaurants and eateries will remain shut for dinning, however, home delivery has been permitted. Places such amusement parks, museums will remain shut.
Maximum of 20 people are allowed to gather for a wedding ceremony while only 10 people can attend a funeral.
