New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in West Bengal and BJP member Suvendu Adhikari took a dig at his former colleague Shatrughan Sinha who has switched to TMC over Manoranjan Byapari’s remarks on Biharis.

Taking to Twitter, Adhikari wrote, “My humble question to Bihari Babu Shri @ShatruganSinha ji, Sir, what do you feel about this disgraceful rant of TMC MLA Manoranjan Byapari? Your new party colleague is very transparent about his feelings towards Biharis. His recent speech at the Kolkata International Book Fair.”

“First his leader @MamataOfficial labels Biharis & UPites as "Bohiragotos" & now this clarion call to make Bengal free of Biharis,” he wrote in another tweet.

In the video shared by Suvendu Adhikari, TMC member Manoranjan Byapari could be heard hurling disgraceful remarks about people of Bihar.

"If Bengali blood runs through your veins...If the blood of Khudiram and Netaji (Subhash Chandra Bose) runs through your veins and if you love your mother tongue and motherland, then you have to shout out loud - 'Ek Bihari, sou bimari' (One person from Bihar is equal to 100 diseases)'. We don't want diseases. Make Bengal disease-free. Jai Bangla, Jai Didi Mamata Banerjee," Byapari could be heard saying in the video.

He could be further heard saying, "If everything is fine in Bihar, then…go back to Bihar."
