The limited edition model will feature cosmetic updates both inside and out

In order to give the Tigor a breath of freshness Tata Motors is coming up with a limited edition model for the sub-4m sedan. Called the ‘Tigor Buzz,’ it is expected to go on sale in the coming days (June 7, that’s what our sources say). Tata has not yet officially revealed anything about the Tigor Buzz but the limited edition model has been spied at a dealership.

From the spy shots, the Tigor Buzz features various cosmetic updates in the form of a blacked-out roof, black (contrast) ORVMs and ‘Buzz’ badge at the rear. On the inside, the only change appears to be the red highlights on the AC vents. The Buzz edition might also get red highlights on the grille and wheel covers along with new seat fabric like the Tiago Wizz edition, which was launched in September 2017.

Other features offered on the Buzz edition should remain similar to the Tigor’s mid-spec XT variant, on which the Buzz edition is expected to be based. The spy images revealed that the limited edition model will, however, miss out on LED turn indicators on the ORVMs, something that’s on offer on the Tigor XT.

Since it will be a limited-run model any mechanical changes are unlikely to happen. So it will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Tiago Buzz is expected to be priced at a premium of Rs 16,000-22,000 over the XT variant, which is priced at Rs 5.56 lakh and Rs 6.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for petrol and diesel, respectively.
