The 2019 Range Rover Sport luxury SUV is now available with Jaguar Land Rover’s 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Ingenium series. It will be offered with the S, SE and HSE variants, making it more affordable too. Here’s the full price list for the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol variants of the Range Rover Sport:

Until now, the entry-point for the Range Rover Sport was the S variant with the 3.0-litre diesel V6, which is priced at Rs 1.03 crore, while the entry-spec petrol option was the SE variant with the 3.0-litre V6 that is priced at Rs 1.14 crore. This 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol is no slouch though and is also offered on the F-Type sports coupe. It produces 300PS of power and 400Nm of torque while mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. While there is no difference in the feature list, there is a trade-off with this engine option.

No matter which variant you pick, if it’s with the new 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, you do not get to equip it with the off-road pack. This optional add-on pack includes Land Rover’s All Terrain Progress Control system, twin-speed transfer box for high and low range, and adaptive dynamic suspension. However, the more affordable Range Rover Sport still comes with the Land Rover Terrain Response system which should suffice for urban environments.

The 2019 Range Rover Sport is still available with the larger engine options depending upon the variant - the 3.0-litre V6 petrol, 3.0-litre V6 diesel, 4.4-litre diesel V8 and even the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol in the SVR. Now, this five-seater Land Rover luxury SUV is priced between Rs 86.71 lakh to Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) and continues its rivalry with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne, Maserati Levante and the upcoming Audi Q8.
