The present time is certainly a good phase for aspiring artists to make their way into big screens. Young artist Ali Adel from Qena (Egypt), too, is looking forward to his debut into Indian film industry. Talking about his relationship with acting, he said, “I loved acting since my youth and participated in the school theatre until I was selected three times for the award of the best-talented actor in the Republic of Egypt. I began my career with small roles in a number of works, including ‘Hamada Plays’ and ‘Qadain Leh’ in 2005.” Interestingly, the newcomer had also been a part of Inas Bakr’s popular series ‘Hanan Wa Haneen’. Released in 2007 it had popular names like Omar Sharif, Samia Aafif and Samira Abdelaziz. However, it was only in 2009 when his acting journey took a leap with ‘Ehky Ya Shahrazad’. Later, in the same year, he also acted in the series like ‘Hala and Almstahbi’. “The year 2012 was a very important year in my career, where I presented my first star in the film German. Later in 2014, I portrayed an important role in the series which was very popular among the public,” Adel said. Speaking about the initial roadblocks while paving the way in the industry, Adel said, "Getting started as an artist is not that hard. It is one of the few jobs where you can actually just declare yourself an actor, even before you get your first audition or job. People do it all the time." The artist also spoke about the turning point in his career. "Turning point is that moment when your career transforms from one state to another. It might mean a change in your energy, motivation or confidence levels in either direction. You might be gaining new skills, knowledge or experience. Some career turning points are structured and predictable," he said. Speaking about the best part of his artistic career, Adel said, "There is no singular best part. It is a general satisfaction of enjoying your successes in an artistic profession. No easy task. We know them all. We are fulfilled by making some kind of art that speaks to our passions, interests and even causes.
