The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will be in Germany from June 26 to June 27, following which he will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on June 28. He is visiting Schloss Elmau, Germany, at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the G7 Summit. Schloss Elmau is a monument built by philosopher Johannes Müller between 1914 and 1916.


Modi reached Germany in the morning of June 26, and is expected to share his views on issues such as environment, energy, climate, food security, health, gender equality, and democracy during the summit. 




Other democracies invited as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation in these important issues include Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal and South Africa. 


The Prime Minister of India, on the sidelines of the summit, will conduct bilateral meetings with politicians from some of the participating countries. 


Keeping in mind the tradition of strong and close partnership and high level political contacts between India and Germany, our country has been invited to the G7 Summit. 


The last time Modi visited Germany was on May 2, 2022. He visited the country for the sixth edition of the India-Germany Intergovernmental Consultations (IGC).


Visit To UAE On June 28


After attending the G7 Summit, Modi will visit the UAE on June 28. At the UAE, Modi will express his personal condolences over the demise of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former President of the UAE and the ruler of Abu Dhabi. 


Modi will also congratulate His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the new President of the UAE and the ruler of Abu Dhabi. On the night of June 28, Modi will depart from the UAE.

The Prime Minister has left for Germany. He reached Munich airport in the morning of June 26.


Modi will reach his hotel at 9:35 am. He will take part in a community event at Audi Done at 6:30 pm.


The Prime Minister will have a meeting with the President of Argentina at 9:30 pm, and with the President of Bavaria at 11:30 pm
