MSC Aries: Indian Embassy Officials In Iran To Soon Meet 17 Sailors Onboard Seized Ship

EAM S Jaishankar Monday said he has told his Iranian counterpart that the 17 Indian crew members of MSC Aries, taken over by the Iran Revolutionary Guards, will have to ‘come back to India quickly’.

New Delhi: Indian Embassy officials in Iran are expected to soon meet the 17 Indian crew members who were onboard the Portugal-flagged cargo ship MSC Aries that was seized by the Iran Revolutionary Guards before it could reach its destination, the Nhava Sheva Port in Mumbai.
