New Delhi: A day after addressing the people of Bihar via virtual rally, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held Odisha Jan-Samvad Rally where he said that it was only Modi government who had the courage to remove Article 370 and 35A of Indian Constitution. Amit Shah through Bihar BJP's Facebook and YouTube pages, interacted with the people of Odisha and extended gratitude for supporting the nation during corona pandemic which has infected over two-lakh people in the country.

Shah said encroaching India's borders isn't an easy task as security forces won't spare anyone. "Terror attacks happened in our time too, in Uri & Pulwama, but PM Modi didn't waste time, Pakistan was punished by airstrikes & surgical strikes. It made the whole world realise that encroaching India's borders is not child's play, you will be punished."

Elaborating on the measures and initiatives taken by the Modi government, Amit Shah said that Bharatiya Janata Party workers provided food to more than 11 crore people during this COVID-19 pandemic. Shah added that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took timely and effective steps and norms to contain spread of deadly coronavirus.

"I wholeheartedly congratulate party president, his team and all the party workers for this." Shah said. He went  on to say that "PM Modi has also advised for social distancing but it can never be between the people and BJP. Led by National President JP Nadda, we are now getting in touch with people via virtual rallies"

The senior BJP leader recalled various decisions taken by Narendra Modi government over the past six years. Shah said, "Many governments came with 2/3rd majority but did not have the courage to remove Article 370 and 35A. On 5th August 2019, Narendra Modi ji brought the bill to Parliament and abrogated Article 370 & 35A."

Amit Shah claimed that several states like Odisha, don't have the access to tap water. For the same, PM Narendra Modi launched Jal Jeevan Mission to make available safe drinking water through pipeline to 25 crore people by 2022, Shah said.

This comes after Amit Shah on Sunday flagged off the first poll campaign for Bihar Assembly elections. While addressing the people of Bihar via virtual conferencing, BJP leader said that there are elections in Bihar in the coming days.

"I believe that with Nitish Kumar Ji's leadership, NDA will form the government with a 2/3rd majority but this isn't the time for politics. We all should fight Covid under Modi Ji's leadership," Shah said, adding that "This virtual rally is not an election/political rally but it is a rally to bring the people of the country together in our fight against coronavirus pandemic."
