New Delhi: In a miraculous incident at Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad, a woman escaped being run over by a train by a few inches. The woman, identified as Kusum Lata Sharma resident of Kanpur, was trying to board Gomti Express when the train entered the Firozabad Railway Station but did not halt completely.
While trying to board the train, she slipped and fell down in the narrow gap between train and platform, while the train was still in motion. After the train crossed the platform, bystanders and onlookers along with policemen rescued Kusum who was safe and sound.
One of the onlookers captured the whole incident on his camera, which is now going viral on social media.

Earlier this month, a fire had broken out in the engine and two compartments of a train at Daurala Railway Station near Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut city. No injuries and casualties were reported, news agency ANI had reported.
The train, numbered 04460 Saharanpur-Delhi MEMU Express Special was going from Saharanpur to Delhi when the engine and two of its compartments had caught fire.
In a bid to separate the engine and two compartments, the passengers were seen pushing the train in a video shared by ANI.
