In terms of features, the two misses on the XUV500 W3 compared to the W5 are the audio system with the 6-inch monochrome display as well as USB and Bluetooth connectivity, and the full wheel caps all around. The W3 variant gets dual front airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, electrically adjustable ORVMs and projector headlamps. It gets 17-inch steel wheels and same upholstery inside as the W5. Given its equipment level, the W3 variant delivers better value than the W5.
At Rs 12.31 lakh, the base XUV500 W3 is now more affordable than the entry-level Tata Harrier, which is priced at Rs 12.7 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
