All those looking for an automatic gearbox in the D-Max V-Cross will be happy to know that their wish has been fulfilled by the Japanese carmaker. It has launched a limited edition of the V-Cross, called the ‘Z Prestige’ variant, with a 6-speed automatic transmission mated to a 1.9-litre diesel engine. The new variant is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Now that a limited edition has been introduced, the D-Max V-Cross will be offered in three variants: Standard, Z and Z Prestige. Here is the variant-wise price list of the V-Cross:

The 2.5-litre unit offered in the lower variants of the V-Cross comes with a four-wheel drive setup and is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Similarly, the new 1.9-litre engine, which is BS4-compliant, on the new variant also offers a four-wheel drive option and will soon replace the current 2.5-litre unit. The new powertrain returns 150PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque.

The V-Cross sports dual-tone leather upholstery with soft touch panels on the dashboard and also features a new roof-mounted speaker to enhance the sound quality. The Z Prestige variant does not fall short in terms of safety as it offers a total of six airbags (side and curtain) and also provides a Brake Override System (BOS).

Isuzu offers four colour options – Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, Pearl White and Cosmic Black - in the D-Max V-Cross.
