A few days back in Bengaluru, an influencer by the name of Hitesha Chandrani alleged that a Zomato delivery boy manhandled her and broke her nose. She uploaded a video on her social media where her nose can be seen covered in blood.
The post went viral in no time and people started slamming the delivery boy Kamaraj. However, after Kamaraj shared his side of the story, many people came out in support of him including Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who requested Zomato to find out the truth.
Now, according to the latest report, an FIR has been filed against the influencer Hitesha Chandrani on the Zomato delivery boy Kamaraj's complaint.

A report in ANI reads, “Karnataka: FIR filed against Hitesha Chandrani, who had accused Zomato delivery boy Kamaraj of attacking her, at Bengaluru's Electronic City Police Station under Section 355 (assault), 504 (insult) & 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC; FIR registered on Kamaraj's complaint”.
The FIR against the influencer has been reportedly lodged under Section 355 (assault), 504 (insult), and 506 (criminal intimidation) at a Police Station in Bengaluru.
This incident divided the internet into two parts. Zomato also suspended the delivery boy temporarily soon after the incident and released a statement in which they revealed that they are taking care of the legal expenses of Kamaraj and the medical expenses of Hitesha Chandrani.
The statement read, "We are in constant touch with Hitesha, covering her medical expenses, and helping her with the proceedings. We are also in constant touch with Kamaraj, extending all possible support to make sure both sides of the story come to light and that due process is followed in the spirit of fairness."
The statement further read, "Right from the get-go, our topmost priority has been to get to the truth. Towards that, we are helping both Hitesha and Kamaraj (our delivery partner) with all the support they need while the investigation is pending. We are also assisting the police in whichever way asked."
