The leaders of the Samajwadi Party (SP) met Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik on Tuesday and challenged the “failed policies, and underdevelopment of Uttar Pradesh under the governance of BJP”. They said that Yogi Adityanath “failed in his work and suggested to implement governor rule” in Uttar Pradesh too.

Speaking on the issue, SP National secretary, Rajendra Chaudhary said that “Party leaders visited the Governor in Raj Bhavan to give him the Party Memorandum and requested him to take actions against the inactivity and hatefulness of the BJP Government in the state.

The party stated in their memorandum that “government’s administration has been immobilised and the officials are not paying attention thoroughly. The public of the state is going through a lot because of the expensiveness”.

Lauding own party, it further said that “Samajwadi Party implemented number of policies for poor, farmers, women and minorities. But now those policies are either being shut or not given enough budgets.  The law and order has been wrecked due to which crime rate has been rising, murders are increasing and women are being raped”.

Also, Party accused BJP Government of leaving the state’s development, where it was decades ago. So it’s better for the public and the development to exercise the Governor rule.

It has been said in the memorandum that BJP is inoperative in every field.  The farmers are forced to commit suicide because of the loans, destroyed crops and false promises of increasing the surplus by 1.5%.

Party’s leaders also blamed UP Government for defaming former CM and the chairperson of SP, Akhilesh Yadav. They accused BJP of creating a campaign against SP so that the public is distracted from the failures of the Government.
