New Delhi: A case has been filed against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Prakash Jarwal, who has been accused of molesting and threatening a woman. On the other hand, Jarwal has refuted the charges and has claimed that woman is Bharatiya Janta Party worker.

Jarwal is an MLA from Devli in Delhi.  The woman filed a complaint in Sangam Vihgar police station stating that “Jarwal entered her house and molested her”. The woman also claims that he used abusive words against her.

Speaking to media, the complainant said “Jarwal entered my house and pushed me”. She further added that he “threw away my dupatta and used extremely abusive words for me”.

Jarwal, on the other hand has termed the whole matter as a political vendetta against him and has denied all charges against him.

Speaking to media Jarwal said, “Four months after the elections, the woman is claiming that I hit her and used bad language with her and her family”. He further added saying, “All the charges against me are false”.

The MLA and ‘victim’ had an argument before the MCD elections took place, and both had filed a complaint against each other.

The police after filing the complaint are probing the whole matter.

This isn’t the first time a molestation case has been filed against AAP MLA. Three months ago, another woman had accused the MLA of eve-teasing her.
