The 'Battle For Bengal' this time around has taken an aggressive tone as Bharatiya Janata Party is trying its best to topple the CM Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government while the latter is also putting up a strong fight to hold its ground intact even as scores of members leave to join the saffron party. Meanwhile, Congress is trying to make its presence felt by forming an alliance with the Left and Indian Secular Front parties.
The magic figure to be the ruling party in the West Bengal Assembly is 148.
